Holidays in Ibiza

Ibiza is an island just off the coast of Spain and is very popular especially during summer. Although it gains most of its fame for its nightlife and famous clubs and DJs who spend the summer here,  there are more things you can do in Ibiza that are fun and family-friendly without hanging out at the bars up to the wee hours in the morning.

Ibiza is a great diving area and it’s one of its greatest attractions. Their warm and clear water is just perfect for diving at any day of the year which is why many divers both amateurs and professionals travel from far away places just to be in Ibiza and experience its aquatic beauty.

One great way to enjoy Ibiza is to go sightseeing. One thing you should do is ride a tourist train or their scenic tour train. It’s so much fun and you’ll be able to see most of Ibiza in just one ride. Also, why don’t you try some water sports or go mountain biking or hiking? For an excellent experience make sure you go to Es Cavallet beach resort. It’s just quite near the airport too. What to expect here? You’ll see some nude people walking along the shore and that’s just fine here as long as you don’t stare at them. Of course you don’t need to strip off your swimsuits too, you can choose to go nude or wear your usual swimming attire or wear jeans if you like, and nobody cares really. It’s a great beach but it’s not for the faint-hearted.

One of the great things about Ibiza is that you don’t need to set your dates on summer months only. Its great climate is one of its greatest asset and of course having awesome beaches doesn’t hurt at all and they have great facilities that tourists love and makes their vacation even more worthwhile.
