Granada has a lot to offer to its visitors. Start from The Gate of Elvira which is a former gate to the old city and a part of the Moorish wall. Visit the mosque Almorabitin which is the oldest mosque in Granada. Go through the Albayzin which is the ancient Arab quarter which still has houses dating back to the 16th century. Continue your exploration with the Christian churches: Capilla Real – the Royal Chapl where the Catholic Kings are burried – Isabella and Ferdinand. Santa Ana Church is a church built in the 16th century in amazing Mudejar style and don’t forget the Church of San Salvador – a combination of styles: Mudejar and Moorish Almohad.
Relax in the garden of Federico Garcia Lorca or in the Botanical Garden of the University of Granada. The University of Granada is just as famous as the university in Salamanca and Santiago de Compostela.
