Costa de la LuzCosta de la Luz ("Cost of Light) is a touristic resort on the Atlantic coast, including Tarifa, Cadiz and Huelva. It is a touristic destination popular for French and German visitors. Tourists are attracted by the sunshine, the water as well as by leisure activities - golf, kitesurfing or boating.
Costa de la Luz is the home of Donana National Park, a nature reserve for endangered animal species. Other natural attractions are: the Bay of Cadiz, the salt marshes of Barbate and the cliffs by the seaside in La Brena.

Spend an afternoon in Isla Cristina, one of the most important fishing ports in the province and a popular resort among Spaniards themselves, with "Blue Flag" beaches.
See Cape Trafalgar where admiral Nelson defeated the French and Spanish fleet. Step inside Rabida Monastery where centuries ago Columbus himself sought help from the Franciscan brothers for a discovery scheme he had planned. The monks introduced him to a wealthy local family who helped Columbus to start his expedition along with royal support.
