Costa Tropical Beach
Costa Tropical is a Spanish coastline situated in Granada (it is also called Costa de Granada) and it takes its name from the sub-tropical climate. The coast is made up of small resort towns and fishermen villages. The Sierra Nevada mountains makes the landscape unique in this area - they fall right into the Mediterranean, adding a dramatic and rough touch to the landscape.
The main towns of Costa Tropical are Motril and Almunecar. Motril is a popular touristic destination for Northern Europeans. During the weekends the place is a short-break for people from Granada who come here to have a relaxing weekend on the beach.
