Costa Brava history
The Romans set up the economic and military outposts in Costa Brava. Spain was later invaded by different peoples and it fell together with the northern regions of Spain then the Visigoths took over and controlled the regions for some time. During the end of 18th century, Costa Brava produced many corks to keep up with the requirement for the champagne production in the South and at the beginning of the 19th century, population ballooned in Costa Brava.

One of Costa Brava’s attractions are its golf courses. Costa Brava have several golf courses on the entire region that many golf lovers enjoy so much that they keep on coming back. Aside from its golf courses, Costa Brava has amazing and unspoiled territories such as gorges and coves.
Costa Brava beaches
Costa Brava has several beaches along its coast and is flocked by tourists usually during the summer as the weather is warm here although Costa Brava enjoys a not-so-cold winter, the beach is not the best place to go during winter as the water can get a bit cold. Beaches can be found in Calella de Palafrugell, Port de la Selva and other areas.
Going out in Costa Brava
Go to nearby towns such as Blanes and Cadaques if you want to have some fun out with lots of great things to do. In Costa Brava’s Medes Island is a great place for scuba diving and if you want to have some scrumptious food then go to Ampurdan.

Costa Brava enjoys fine weather all throughout the year. Summer is the best time to go to Costa Brava because it’s warm during the day and cool during night time. The winter season in Costa Brava is just mild and tourists still come here to go sightseeing and play some golf.
